About Us
Founder, Patrice Dennene Watson has been employed with WCPSS since 2001. She has earned an Associate's in Early Childhood, a Bachelor's in Social Work, and a Master's in Special Education & School Administration. She also has additional training from the NCTEACCH Classroom Training Program - Elementary, Adolescent Session. Her passion is preparing autistic children and their families for any situation they may face whether in or out of the school setting.

Dennene's Preschool, Inc. is dedicated to creating a safe and stimulating environment for your child to learn about the world around them. Not only is Patrice involved in her own work but takes pride in volunteering in her community, touching many lives beyond those she teaches.

As stated above, we have extensive experience in providing quality education to young minds. We do our best to understand the needs of every child. We strive to cultivate an atmosphere that encourages development and growth. We are committed to making life easier for both child and parent. We help create structure for the child with an unstructured mind. We believe that autism is not a disability but a different ability.

K - 2nd Tutoring Program

K - 2nd Tutoring Program

The K - 2nd Tutoring Program is designed to provide young learners with personalized guidance and support in foundational subjects such as reading, writing, and mathematics. Tutors work closely with students, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment to help them thrive academically. Tutoring is available during the academic year (Wednesday & Thursday by appointment only) and the summer months to help students retain what they learned and be prepared for the upcoming year.

I was able to see first hand Ms. Watson's services with my son who has been diagnosed with level 2 autism. During the sessions, I was able to sit in and, not only see what they were learning, but also learn tips on how to continue learning at home. Each session ends with a recap of what my child learned and how to apply the skills when practicing at home. My child has been excelling in school and I contribute that to Dennene's Preschool.
